Career: Professional Sitar Artist 1975-; given countless sitar concerts for over 40 years in all corners of the world; performances abroad include 8 concerts in USA, concerts in Mauritius, Adelaide & Sydney (Australia), Dublin (Ireland), Canada, Japan, Portugal, Singapore, UK, Venice (Italy), Univ of Cambridge and Univ of Oxford (UK) and Festival of India, Muscat (Oman); given concerts all over India including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhavnagar, Indore, Jaipur, Kerala, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Udaipur; has also performed over TV in India and USA besides programmes on AIR; through her concerts helped to collect funds for various social welfare organisations and associations for the handicapped including National Asscn for the Blind Centre for Blind Women, New Delhi, Tamana School for Special Children, New Delhi, Burns Asscn, Mumbai and many others; Fellow & Dy Governor, ABI (USA);
